COMMERCIAL MADE WITH HIGGSFIELD AI VIDEO AND REFINED IN DAVINCI RESOLVE
STORY BOARD
Concept created with Google Gemini and Nano Banana, refined in Photoshop.
Breakdown
AOKIVO was developed as a fashion-forward outerwear concept shaped by my personal style, travel experience, and strong attention to product detail. The name AOKIVO was chosen because it felt sleek, modern, and internationally wearable, with a sound that could sit naturally between Japanese, Korean, and Western fashion influences. I began the project by focusing on the jacket itself first, building the design through detailed generative image work before moving into the commercial. Using Nano Banana and Google Gemini, I created early visual concepts through highly specific prompts, reference images, and careful design direction.
This project was more challenging because jacket consistency mattered heavily across every angle, especially the placement of buttons, closures, hood structure, fur lining, pockets, sleeve panels, and back design. I had to be extremely specific in the prompt language so the garment would stay cohesive from image to image. My photography and videography background played a major role in this process, because I already knew the exact types of framing, realism, and lighting I wanted, including key light, back light, rim light, and cinematic depth to make the jacket feel believable and premium rather than purely generated. The design itself was very personal to me as someone who travels to Japan often and has always wanted a jacket that feels fashionable, warm, and practical, especially with useful hidden pockets for things like keys and a wallet. I also took inspiration from the anime film Your Name, particularly the feeling of a jacket style I liked, but I intentionally pushed the final design in my own direction so it wouldn’t feel copied. My goal was to blend a Korean-inspired front design, a Japanese-inspired sensibility, and a Western sense of practicality into one wearable piece, with the final colorway chosen based on my own taste.
As the design evolved, I realized the back of the jacket actually looked stronger in motion than in the early flat-lay images, so the commercial itself became part of the final design process. After generating the strongest stills, I refined and corrected details in Photoshop, then brought the images into Higgsfield and Kling 3.0, where I used highly descriptive prompts to animate the jacket in ways that felt realistic and cinematic. Because the available credits were limited, I had to be extremely deliberate with every prompt to make sure the shots came out accurately. Once I had the exact number of visuals I wanted, I assembled everything in DaVinci Resolve Studio, where I handled transitions, sound design, color finishing, and final editing to produce the completed commercial.
